Scholarship Program

The scholarship program is designed to expand opportunities for youth who otherwise would not have the opportunity to dance. Auditions are held twice a year for students age 7 to 18. A select number of students are offered scholarships to attend the Summer Intensive. Please, consult the school calendar for audition dates.
To apply for a scholarship, parents or guardians must submit a completed application and participate in an interview. Students must attend an audition to be considered. Most scholarship funding is partial and priority is given to support enrollment in core ballet classes. Awards are based on financial need, talent and commitment.
Scholarship recipients must meet the following program requirements in order to remain in good standing:
• Be dedicated to the study of dance
• Have perfect attendance, with no unapproved absences
• Participate in workshops and performance opportunities
appropriate to their level
• Participate with other students at their level in extracurricular
support activities
• Comply with the policies of the school as described in
the Student Handbook
• Fulfill any tuition payment obligations
• Sell a minimum of 10 tickets to annual performances
